I've decided to move away from the synthpop genre and chose the song "Part Heart" by Kate Nash, which is more rock/riot grrrl oriented.
i decided to choose a song from this genre instead because i'm generally more interested in this type of music. however, the types of videos (concept/narrative based) that i was planning would still work with this music so i wouldn't have to re-plan everything. other riot grrrl bands: Bikini Kill Hole Bratmobile you could look at music videos from these bands as ideas/influence
